Reservation / Terms & Conditions

On this page you will find the rules for booking a session at Magic Mirror, as well as payment terms, cancellations, rescheduling, and related conditions.

1. Introduction

These Reservation / Terms & Conditions govern the rules for booking a session at Magic Mirror, as well as payment terms, cancellations, rescheduling, and other related rules.

By making a reservation, the customer confirms that they have read and agree to these terms.

3. Session Reservations

Session reservations can be made online through the booking system available on the Magic Mirror website.

A reservation becomes binding once the order is completed and the reservation fee has been successfully paid, unless stated otherwise.

4. Reservation Types and Prices

Magic Mirror offers standard reservations of the following lengths:

  • 30 minutes
  • 60 minutes
  • 120 minutes

Reservation prices may vary depending on the day of the week and the current price list shown in the booking system.

5. Number of Guests

Each reservation package includes a certain number of people depending on the selected session length.

30 minutes

  • 4 people are included
  • the maximum number is 6 people

60 minutes

  • 6 people are included
  • the maximum number is 10 people

120 minutes

  • 6 people are included
  • the maximum number is 10 people

An extra charge of 500 CZK per additional person applies for each guest above the included number.

If the number of people exceeds the maximum limit for a standard reservation, an individual inquiry for a larger group or special reservation is required.

6. Payment

Standard reservations are paid in full in advance online.

A reservation is confirmed only after successful completion of payment.

Payment may be processed through external payment providers, such as Stripe, SumUp, or another similar payment service provider.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellation or rescheduling more than 48 hours before the session

The customer may cancel or reschedule the reservation no later than 48 hours before the start of the session.

If the reservation is cancelled in time, the paid amount may be refunded or the reservation may be moved to another date according to the option selected in the booking system.

Cancellation or rescheduling less than 48 hours before the session

If the reservation is cancelled less than 48 hours before the start of the session, no refund is available.

Rescheduling less than 48 hours before the session is not an automatic right, and the studio may allow it only in exceptional cases at its own discretion.

8. No-show and Late Arrival

If the customer does not arrive for the reservation without prior agreement, the reservation is forfeited without any right to a refund.

In the event of a late arrival, the session time cannot be extended. The reservation takes place within the originally booked time slot and ends according to the original schedule.

9. Gift Certificates Used for Reservations

If a reservation is paid for using a gift certificate, the separate Gift Certificate Terms also apply in addition to these terms.

If the customer cancels a reservation paid with a gift certificate more than 48 hours before the scheduled time, the certificate code may be reactivated.

If the reservation is cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled time, there is no automatic right to reactivation of the certificate. In justified cases, the studio may, at its own discretion, offer an alternative date.

10. Studio Rules, Order, and Cleanliness

If you plan to shoot in shoes, please bring a clean change of shoes intended only for the session. It is not possible to enter the photo area in wet, dirty, or outdoor footwear.

If you are coming with an animal, please make sure its paws are clean and dry.

The studio reserves the right to refuse service without refund if the customer or their guests violate the basic studio rules, especially if they enter the space in unsuitable, dirty, or wet footwear, bring an animal with dirty paws, behave in an inappropriate or aggressive way, or are under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

11. Liability for Damage

The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the studio equipment, backdrop, floor, or any other studio property.

In case of exceptional contamination or damage, the studio may require compensation for the actual damage caused.

For damage to the paper photo backdrop, compensation may be determined according to the extent of the damage, with a guideline amount of 300 CZK per running meter, including related replacement or delivery costs where appropriate.

12. Studio Responsibility

If the studio is unable to carry out the session for reasons on its side, the customer will be offered, depending on the circumstances:

  • an alternative date,
  • a rescheduled reservation,
  • or a refund of the paid amount.

13. Events and Larger Groups

Reservations for larger groups, celebrations, company shoots, or other special occasions are handled individually through an inquiry.

Such reservations may not be subject to the same regime as standard online reservations, and their terms may be determined individually.

15. Final Provisions

The studio reserves the right to reasonably amend or update these terms.

The terms valid at the time the reservation is made are binding for the customer.
